Its at the House of Guitars, and can be viewed on their museum page and in person at the store.
Authentic, I believe, and as far as I know, not for sale.

That poor pickguard, doomed to a life of impurity covered in so much Sharpie marker... All so some guy named "Getty" could feel important.

Geddy does not normally sign instruments or parts of instruments. The Rick being, "Not For Sale" might have been in the agreement for signing it.
JETGLO should officially be renamed JETGLO ROCKS!

Yes it is at the House of Guitars. It is authentic and is not for sale. Believe me, I asked. Since the store is directly across the lake from Toronto, Geddy stops in from time to time. A few years back Geddy purchased a pretty rare RIC bass, I believe it was a 4002 if my memory serves me correct, and had some work done to it by The H.O.G.'s guitar luthier. He completely removed and repaired the truss rod system for him. He is an amazing guitar tech and the only person I let touch any of my RIC basses. The store is a great place to visit. It is a museum as well.

I need to get back to Rochester, it's been years since I was at HOG.

Joey - while it may not be normal practice for Geddy to autograph instruments, he can be seen signing a lucky fan's 4001 in Rio de Janerio in the "extras" section of the "Rush in Rio" DVD.rickenbrother wrote:Geddy does not normally sign instruments or parts of instruments. I'd like to check that out some day.
If Mozart were with us today, he'd play a Fireglo 4001C64! ~~~*~~~ Beethoven, on the other hand, would play a Matte Jetglo 4001C64S!

He's either reconsidered over the years or some fan really did get lucky.superdick2112 wrote:Joey - while it may not be normal practice for Geddy to autograph instruments, he can be seen signing a lucky fan's 4001 in Rio de Janerio in the "extras" section of the "Rush in Rio" DVD.![]()
