Hey Richard,superdick2112 wrote:Tony, does that include trans. green? I'm thinking my next 4004Cii should be a greenie. I just wish I could see one in person before ordering - the color kind of reminds me of Midnight Blue in that it looks a bit different in every picture I've seen of it. Must be a tough one to photograph.
Good call, YES..the Trans green is KILLER....I especially like it with the GOLD TRIM.
Jdog had one, and it REALLY POPS in person. The photo's didn't do it justice. IMHO, it is a very difficult
color to photograph....but take my word, it is a beauty in person!

I can just see it now...CJ & Tony separated at birth, reunited in Jetglo.

Hey Tony, just an update inbetween all the Jetglo-bashing.
Didn't manage to snag the guitar, but have prospects for another. I'll be in touch.
Now,..... back to the jetglo "discussion"!

Alright you Oil Slick lovers....I go out for one night, and I miss all the fun!
Jetglo, how un-imaginative!
Where the heck are my polishing diapers?
Could you imagine CJ & Myself walking side by side? We'd look like the number 10!

It seems to me that you have or had a JG (black) bass Tony.............was it a Peavey or...........a Rick or something else??? Anyway get over your fear of JG. It really is a classic look on a Rickenbacker.
CJ judging by the mere fact that you are still talking about JG, I don't think you are a hopeless case either.

I'm also happy SOMEONE got it!
You are partly correct Brian, HAD is the key word here for the Jetglo RIc. 'Twas a HORRIBLE beast. BLECH.
I DO STILL have a BLACK Peavey Dyna bass. And IF I had my druthers, it wouldn't be if I could help it.
BUT, no worries, at this rate, I'll buff the black right off the darn thing just trying to keep it clean!
....CLASSIC LOOK.....BAH, HUMBUG!
