IT'S CALENDAR TIME!!!
Time again to solicit submissions for the annual RRF calendar. These should be large format in as high a resolution as possible. My "print from" files are typically 9 X 12, 300 DPI for max color and clarity.
You can email pics of whole guitars, entire collections, details of guitars, guitars and players, owners, etc. Please don't send copyrighted material! If you've got lots of pics, burn me a disc or thumb drive and PM me for snail mail address.
Deadline: December 10, 2010. I'll have the calendar link posted on the 15th at the latest.
Yes, it's that time again! Hard to believe that 2010 is almost over...I was so busy all year that time really flew...

Re: IT'S CALENDAR TIME!!!
I was just wondering about the 2011 calendar. Any chance that you'll do a second calendar of your handiwork?

Hmmm ... maybe my "Take The Reds, Man" picture?

That's great, Gary, go for it!
Good idea Richard.
Now to start thinking about my submission. I have plenty from FL, but would rather take something fresh with the DC backdrop.

I think Gary has the right idea for the summer months!
I'm partial to this too for a summer shot
I have it in a large format if you think it would work Paul ( and some different angles).

Re: IT'S CALENDAR TIME!!!
I'd hate to be the guy that has to narrow all the submissions down to 12....
Re: IT'S CALENDAR TIME!!!
Any particular theme for this one ?

Re: IT'S CALENDAR TIME!!!
The quality of submissions, judging from the two shown above, and the ones I've already received by email, is better every year since we started this project back in '06. Dan and Gary, DO email me hi-res copies of these! Question: Do we include these So Cal submissions to reflect summer, during the summer months, or do we place them in November and February, to make the rest of us jealous?
Additionally, please include the information on the subject matter, so that the photos can be properly captioned.
Keep 'em coming! Great stuff so far.
Gareth: Wide open this year. Instruments, amps, people, detail shots, pro, am, whatever.
Erik, how about a really nice set of shots of your 481? I don't believe we've ever featured one...
Richard, I've given thought to doing a calendar of my restorations for about three years now...I'm not sure if there's enough demand, and I'd sure like to know that my hours spent in producing the camera-ready art would be well-spent.
I certainly have enough photos...

Re: IT'S CALENDAR TIME!!!
Double posting... here's one I picked out. Still going through some others... I seem to have misplaced a certain folder.
This is resized though, of course.
