Oh boy. From a musicians perspective that was really bad.
His timing was off, he flubbed notes etc but the audience loved it.

Gene plays some great hooks for Kiss and is part of a very effective song writing team but probably should leave the solos to Ace......

Not a soloist, besides that bass and rig are ANEMIC. Trying to be nice, this reminded me of the videos by the guy that overdubs on famous players playing.
