Re: Another peek
I was wondering...
Are you going to include any technical stuff (in the appendix perhaps), relating to truss rod adjustments, and any other of the commonly asked questions pertaining to stellar instrument maintenance/performance?
It might be cool to have a step by step procedure, with photos, that depict such things.

If Mozart were with us today, he'd play a Fireglo 4001C64! ~~~*~~~ Beethoven, on the other hand, would play a Matte Jetglo 4001C64S!

Hmmm...Interesting. I now can say that I've seen my first one. I didn't know that RIC ever really made any, because AFAIK I had never seen one.johnhall wrote:Based on the serial number, I would say this is probably a "B" bass, But it is indeed hard to tell sometimes, especially if there have been modifications along the line.
A good call IMO! Again, not to dis my beloved 4003S's, but they really aren't a good reproduction of an RM 1999... toaster or not.bassduke49 wrote: Supposedly, the detail compromises made in the development of the B series prompted the then new (?) CEO John Hall to scrap the line (and possibly roll some heads) and start producing the much more accurate (looking) V series.
