Left Handed Rumors

Post by mintygin »

Hi guys, I'm new around here and I couldn't find anything on this topic. I'm a lefty, and I've heard Ric is accepting LH orders now. I talked to my music store and they confirmed this. Today the same rep dropped the bomb and said Ric got back to him and said they are not accepting and LH orders at this time. What the hell? Can anyone shed some light? Is there any way to order a LH for an additional fee, or can someone at Ric let me know when orders will be taken for a LH. I am afflicted with this disease of left-handedness, and the only remedy is a fine 620, in fireglo or maple if you got it.

Hmm, interesting. Ben Hall, the production manager at RIC said they were going to produce lefty basses in the first half of 2011, and others later in the year:

Odd that they wouldn't be accepting orders...

Edit: Looking back through that thread, he just said next year, not necessarily the first half. Not sure where I dreamed that up...
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

CJ, you weren't dreaming.
... I already have 4003 LH's scheduled for the first half of next year and I plan on running other LH models in 2011.

Ah thanks! I was sure I'd read that somewhere, but you know, after 50 there are 2 big things that go, first is your memory, and second is... ah... um... well... I forget...

I see you've experienced the same problems as I have.
