Captain Beefheart, alias Don Van Vliet, has passed away at age 69. Sad news, indeed. :(

Rest In Peace to one of the most interesting and bizarre musical visionaries of the late 20th century.

Maybe they'll bury you in that trout mask, hey? (BTW, it's a catfish...)

I can picture him jammin' with Frank again, at the great gig in the sky.

I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...
