It would be very cool to be sitting so close to so many potential 4003s...

I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

CJ, if you search or go to the Confluence section and look for the RIC 75th threads, you will find a lot of pics from the factory tour we all got to go on.

We need more Lemmy input/stories/updates/pics from current, past, or wanna-be owners.
Here's anothe recent Lemmy thread that has additional info.

If Mozart were with us today, he'd play a Fireglo 4001C64! ~~~*~~~ Beethoven, on the other hand, would play a Matte Jetglo 4001C64S!

Since you asked.....I'm always happy to pic whore a little! Here are some pics that show a little more of the detail work. Mine is a little more "rustic" looking than some of the later carving examples. I love seeing the tool markings and tiny details (lots-o-character to be found).....my favorite is the cup looking empty acorn shell just above the bridge p/u. Just a cool little thing IMO.

Another example of the "tight" p/u spacing version....

The two p/u NAMM LK.......

Here's mine, number 26.
You can really see the difference in the carvings between mine and Brian's.

Brian & Gareth, thanks for posting pics of your Lemmys. It's interesting how different the carvings are. Both are beautiful! You're very fortunate to have these.
That two-pickup Lemmy is interesting. I didn't know it even existed.
So, do either one of you have that special edition Lemmy Marshall head with the 4-15" & 4-12" bottoms?!
I wonder if there are any more forum members that have Lemmys, that would be willing to post and discuss them with us?
Lemmy On!

The grain on Brian's is outstanding, especially on the lower horn.

The one pic seems to have an added acorn.

Just found this video from MARF 2007. Brian had flatwounds on it here. VERY thumpy! I loved it.

Great shot of me giving way to the 'Dog and Biscuit (you guys need to form a band and use that name!). Nicely done!
