Again, that's a problem. What you see ain't necessarily what you get. "Videos" of performances, both historical and current, are not proof of the instrument lineup in the recording studio. Some cases where it is obvious like Squire and McCartney may be exceptions.

Not all that well known outside the UK/Europe, but one of my faves... my friend Colin Pattenden of Manfred Mann's Earth Band. Colin was an avid 4001 player. His '71 JG became quite unique too as the pickguard was replaced with one of aluminium, hand engraved by Zemaitis engraver Danny O'Brien. Almost all of the band's catalogue featured the bass... here's a couple vids from the "Solar Fire" LP:

Starcastle's "Lady of the Lake" is pretty good. Gary Strater split his time between Rickenbacker and Alembic.

strater had a '68 or '69 fireglo. great crunchy rick sound.

I'd add a vote for Tool's Prison Sex and Sober, Motorhead's Ace of Spades and Spacehog's In The Meantime.......and would also like to add Metallica's Anesthesia/Pulling Teeth (certainly not the "traditional" Ric tone but no problem hearing the bass).

Paul - I think any songs will need to have some provenance as to whether they were actually performed with a Rickenbacker. For instance, although the Spinal Tap movie shows a Ric bass being used for in a video clip "Flower People", its doubtful that it was actually used for the recording.

just because there is a particular instrument used in a vid, does not necessarily mean it was used on the original recording or by the time the promo vid was done, the musician's guitar line-up changed.
the guitarist kooymans, used a les paul custom on the original track, but used a dan armstrong ampeg plexi in the vid. i've been known to use different basses in my vids than recordings cause i wanted to show off a particular bass. actually, all the KiLLeR DWaRf vids i did had basses not used in the original recordings.

I guess you can't blame 'ol Rinus for using a Ric in the "Radar Love" video . The Ric rates a "10" on the photogenic sexy scale, while the Dano only rates about a "2".

Yes's "Machine Messiah" is one of the most "in yer face" Rickenbacker moments around...
Kate's "Wuthering Heights" has David Patton's 4001 speaking clearly as well (best to hear the original, rather than the "New Vocal" which has the good 80s vocal and also has the rather bad 80s reverb murking up the overall mix)
Klaatu's "Calling occupants of interplanetery craft" nice flatwoundy 4001 sound.
Marillion's "Grendel" Pete Trewavas's 4000 punching through...
