You are a mass marketing man's dream. All those signs and tags on goods lining the supermarket's counters saying "NEW" or "IMPROVED" are aimed directly at *YOU*! And Detroit loves you as well.

Ange, Turquoise used to be a standard color. You should be able to find a used Turquoise 4003.

I dont want a used one, I want a new, it would cost me less for a brand new one than paying the isane bloodsucking price someone will want for a used one, when I need a good laugh I go on ebay and look at the prices people are asking for not only used Ric's but but new ones too, absolutely hilarious..

I wouldn't be so sure, Angelo. Granted this one is pretty rare, but I got this used Turquoise Laredo from a dealer in Canada for about half of what a new one would list for. Bargains do show up now and then, and right now, the market is pretty quiet. Dealers asking close or over new list price for a used one aren't being very successful. The smart sellers who want to actually sell instruments are posting lower prices.

Ah Paul, now thats what im talking about, that bass is absolutely gorgeous, its to die for, it blows my mind that Ric stopped useing turquoise as a standard color, dont get me wrong I like midnight blue and have a beautiful 4003 in that color, but turquoise is just irresistable, thanks for shareing Paul, have a safe and pleasent New Year brother..
