Rickenbacker 360 WB

Post by bbmaster123 »

hello,
this is my first post to Rick Resource! :D not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I am looking to buy my first Ric, specifically a 360 WB. Where would be the best place to look for such a guitar? I checked ebay and they only had 2 up last time I checked, probably because the model is discontinued, and they were the only place that had any up for sale.

Hi Brandon,

That is indeed a fairly rare model and highly sought after. Assuming that you are in North America you might try Craigslist in your area in addition to eBay. Welcome to the forum btw.

Ditto that; welcome to the forum. Coincidentally, searching for another WB model was what led me to discover this forum as well. :D

thanks for the quick replies, and welcomes. Yes I am in North America, in Toronto Canada. I checked Craigslist, but they didn't have any WB models. That one on GBase is a little out of my price range, I'm looking for more around $2000, otherwise I guess I'll have to save up. paologregorio, that's an awesome collection, I'm jealous! :P
Btw, I have never gone to bed after posting a thread to a forum, and woken up to 5 replies, let alone any, thanks guys! :D

Yeah, we're a pretty friendly and helpful bunch around here. Much different than any other internet community.
I guess its because great people are attracted to these great Ric guitars and basses ! And the moderators and administrators of the RRF have steered us all in the right direction and crafted this unique RRF culture. :)

I think Paul's post was a little cruel actually. The poor guy doesn't have one yet and yet our very own Pauly posts pictures of ALL of his.......

Welcome Brandon. I found mine on the Montreal Craigslist. Be patient and something will show up. I doubt it will be much less than $2K though. I got my jetglo for less but it needed a lot of work, including a re-fret. Speaking of which, mine is around in North America somewhere... now where did I put it... oh yes, one of our favourite luthiers has it I believe... 8)
