Back to the umlaut, on a Mac, it is really easy. When you get to the ö in Höfner, hold the option key and type u then release option key and type o and it comes out ö. You can also go back and correct an o by highlighting it, holding option, type u, then release option and type o to get ö.

If you have it enabled you can open the Keyboard Viewer for some cool options, along with the Character Palette, on a Mac, of course. To enable these, open the System Preferences window from the dock, then click on the International icon and click on the Input Menu tab. You will see near the top check boxes for these options.

A VCR or DVD player would be just fine. 8)

I have an RF converter on it, and it's used for old black and white movies on DVD. A Hard Day's Night is a favorite.

Anyway, here's one just completed for The Good Doctor Who, and delivered to him at NAMM after many months of fiddling. It's a 700C/12 with Da Woiks: LRBaggs pickup, bound headstock, crushed MOP inlays, and a blue burst paint job that has two shades of pearl (aqua and red), but is see-through all the way to the edges. The photos below are pretty accurate color-wise.

Very very nice. I like the added red effect. Congrats to you and Gary.
