That V63 REALLY shocked me. Am I missing something? The market still seems pretty darn soft. That would have been a high price when things were hot. Someone just got a killer CS for $3K.

Agreed...that CS had a LOT of checking on it which may be the reason it wend so low...if we are talking about the same one, that is!
One of the higher DCM prices of late to boot!

That's right. I forgot about that. I was playing mine last night, once again wishing I could find a "beater" that I could actually gig with and not worry about. I mean, my 4003S is like the best bass on Earth to me, but there's something really special about the CS.ajish4 wrote:[that CS had a LOT of checking on it which may be the reason it wend so low...if we are talking about the same one, that is!

Re: Prices starting to turn?
I think what is happening is that people are needing money and they are busting out things that we don't normally see on a regular basis. That helps drives prices...also, some people look at dealer pricing figuring that is somewhere around the going rate...deal days are not great at this point. That auction site has become somewhat of a cesspool anyway so it is not really surprising that prices are climbing. The interesting part is to watch how many of them actually sell without shill bidding or other mess. Some of the same ones go round and round....prices are TOO high and people will not pay that much for one..
