I'll stick with my Ampeg RocketBass 100 made in '99 in STL, MO. It does good enough. While I am sure it is a nice amp, that price reflects, IMHO, their belief that the power of nostalgia will drive people to the point of losing leave of their senses long enough to buy them. I would love to see the demographics on who ends up with them. I have my thoughts on that I will keep to myself!

If Mozart were with us today, he'd play a Fireglo 4001C64! ~~~*~~~ Beethoven, on the other hand, would play a Matte Jetglo 4001C64S!

Oh man, I bet it does! I am going to convert a 4003 one of these days into a 8-stringer. It is a beautiful sound!

My at-home rig. C'mon over! At the jam house I use an SVT-2 Pro and an HLF.

Love that Mesa Powerhouse cab. I built my own version about ten years ago, but with just two 10s. Eminence 10s (same as used in the 410HLF) and an EVM-15L. That's my main live rig with an SVT III head. The '74 pretty much lives at the rehearsal spot, but comes out for certain gigs.
