If Mozart were with us today, he'd play a Fireglo 4001C64! ~~~*~~~ Beethoven, on the other hand, would play a Matte Jetglo 4001C64S!

One thing I find interesting is that the inlays are cut in a style simlar to what was being done in early 1958.

Well, it could be that both p/ups are even in output and controlled by one knob while the other pot is a tone control, or the tone is fixed and one pot is for each p/up....I'd love to play it to find out...

that bass is freekin' awesome. ok-i will just say it- remake that one for the next big anniversary-i will buy my first NEW ric. 8)
