Sorry to bust your burble  , Tony, but that is just FG, the lighting in the display is making the 4003 behind it brighter looking and the 4004Cii look darker by comparison.

The new batch of 4004's have a similar neck profile to the 4003. To some that's a plus, to others - not so much. Also, it looks like the headstocks are still morphing to a more 'vintage' shape. Very nice.

The headstocks on the 4004's actually had the "vintage shape before the 4003's had it. They fortunately never had the "knobby" look to the cresting wave that the post 97's did. Even though these pics are taken from the front, the "speed heel" seems to be gone from the 4004's. How could a a thinner neck not be a good thing on the new 4004's? I see the double hump in the 4003 guard is still there as well as all the big radius' in the corners. This is one thing that would be easy to change. With all the nice vintage features reintroduced on the 4003, why are we still looking at this clumsy looking guard?

Thanks for the great photo's, makes me want to try/get a new 4004. The new necks sound like their fast/comfortable.

You're having a joke here aren't you?
They are last years pictures aren't they?
Why else would they be advertising a now discontinued model? (FG 370)

Nice work fella. You had a few of us going there.

Funny thing, when I saw the 370/12 FG. I thought the same thing ... but as was pointed out to me, the 370/12 is still on the price list:

The 340, 340/12, and 370 (six-string) three-pickup models that are no longer on the price list. :)

O.K., back to more pictures; there are still have a lot taken on Friday.
