I will definitely do so. I think a moderator once emailed me that RRF rules allow for the announcement of a product release (not a formal advertisement), but a member other than myself has to initiate the thread. Is that correct or did I misunderstand?

European Janglebox users: what do you use to power it?
Rob from Rickysounds suggested the Boss 9V.

Got some time to get a power unit, I think the JB2's stuck in customs right now

I was also thinking of ordering a JB2 (or what for the Ltd Ed. thereof), but why do you need a power unit for them? (I don't know nothing about these, or any other, units).

There is nothing wrong with owners of companies making comments about a product or service that has been posted initially by members who are at arms length. Posters posting for the purposes of advertising the sale of their product is obviously commercial and against the RRF rules.

I believe the original Janglebox takes a special pin-positive adapter, while the JB2 takes a standard pin-negative adapter. I've used a One Spot with my JB2 and have had no problems. The only trick was getting the 9 volt battery out of the unit. You have to take out six phillips screws from the bottom, snap the battery out of place, and then replace the screws.

I'm not sure how the European adapter may differ from the American one. I do know that over here, when you're buying an original JB, you can also buy the pin-positive adapter from Janglebox. Alternatively, the JB2 takes a universal adapter. But it seems to me the voltage of wall sockets is different in Europe. Is that why Steve recommended you contact Rob from Rickysounds?

JB1, I got the reverse polarity adaptor from Janglebox themselves, and this worked fine with a standard Boss 9volt adaptor.

JB2 works fine with a standard boss 9volt adaptor.

I have a Boss pedalboard and have both a JB1 and JB2 in the chain with no problems.

@Robert: the adapter sold on Janglebox website has a US plug, which won't fit into European electricity sockets - and if they would fit it would be PLOP and they'd be fried.
