I find that the 4000 bass belonging to the great Pete Trewavas ( Marillion, Transatlantic ) is awesome to look at with all the flowers he put on it !!! Pete is one of my long time favorite bass player as well. I met him in Montreal too !!!

If Mozart were with us today, he'd play a Fireglo 4001C64! ~~~*~~~ Beethoven, on the other hand, would play a Matte Jetglo 4001C64S!

Very cool! I wonder who got the idea from whom, as Will Lee has flowers all over his 4001V63.

This one is truely magnificent!! This is exactly the 350 that I would like to see (see other thread somewhere). What are miracles does Larry do?
Best wishes,

Of the basses that I actually own, this is my faveorite finish. The slightly yellowed antique white is the quintissential Rick finish to me since I first saw Chris Squire's bass sometime in '74. This bass started out as a '97 4003.

I'll second that. In person this guitar is even cooler looking. And a great player.

Got me a Larry Davis refin/checkered binding/crushed pearl inlay/accent example I dig right here!
Got one in with Paul W. too. I'll let you know when I get it back but you KNOW it's going to be special

Dan, that's a sweet looking re-fin that Larry Davis did on your Rick!
JETGLO should officially be renamed JETGLO ROCKS!

He did like it, commenting "This is quite nice" as he signed the pickguard. I have the guard framed now. What an awesome night at the Sunset Strip House of Blues that was.johnallg wrote:Chris kinda liked the look of it too when he signed it.
