The nut looks like a piece of a multi-ply pickguard material.

Mike, is there any way you could get us the plain hi res images of the front and back of the bass, apart from the pan and zoom flash thingy?

Just click on "turn off zoom feature", then the image that shows.

O.K., thats the one. :shock:

Reissue this model and I absolutely will buy one. All my favorite Ric features in one bass. I'd like to see it in both one and two-pickup versions.
