Two questions about the 80's era

Post by egosheep »

When did higains have button tops and when did they phase this out? Also, when did they stop doing X bracing on the 330's?
Great Ramp In My Opinion.

from my observation the buttons came in around 73-4...
high gains switch from flat button top to formed button tops happened sometimes in 1990
my 610/12 from 89 still have old style flat button tops, a year later bobbin has those two lines/noodles on left and right from the buttons as we see on recent high gains with hex adjustable "buttons"..
dusan palka who is also known as grazioso on infamous auction web site

IIRC, the end of X bracing was around `84 or `85.
