I have that on a Beatles bootleg here somewhere. I think it's on "Indian Rope Trick" and I hadn't heard it in years. Thanks!

Not really sure, I found it on a Japanese guitar place's blog page. Screen grab from a TV show, at the bottom it says something along the lines of "Paul's Unprecedented Skills" but now I can no longer find the blog page (apologies - my Japanese skills are terriblelyle_from_minneapolis wrote:ataritoobin wrote:![]()

Here are a couple shots I hadn't seen before at the Schloss Hotel in Hamburg, June 1966:

Beatles' luggage at the Manila airport:
Re: Groovy Beatles pictures
I was for sure With The Beatles would be in John's hands instead of Please Please Me... Also, George's belt is fastened to the side of his hip like a modern emo/metal person.
Re: Groovy Beatles pictures
George's belt is likely fastened sideways due to his being considerate of the backs of his guitars!

When I was a tot, all of us, you know, Mod types fastened our belts on the side. It was the cool thing to do in 5th grade. If you watch old Monkees shows, they might be as hip as I was in that respect.

Back when I had a waist, I would wear my belt that way too to avoid scratching my bass. Now, my bass rests well above the belt:

I never wear a belt. Why? My waist is big enough to hold up my pants!
