"1964 are the best at what they do. They were formed in 1982 and have given over 2,900 performances. Gary Grimes has been Paul with 1964 for as long as I can remember. I think he has been with them since the beginning. He was very approachable and always responded to me when I had comments about the band. Gary passed away this morning. He had a brian tumor. He was only 60 years old. This is really extremely sad news. He will be missed by every one who was lucky enough to get to see him portray Paul. I hold him and his family in the Light of my thoughts and prayers.

IIRC he died in mid December last year. Sad just the same.

I understand that he was well liked by everyone who met him and he did an incredible job in the band. Based on the youtube recording that I have seen I concur. He was very very good. His band mates and I understand they are also lifelong friends, will have a tough time with his loss I am sure.
