Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown is good but Monty "zuma" Brown is better.

I think Clarence "Big Glasses" Brown would be more appropriate. It is nice to see a blues player with a Ric though.

John Williams posted another photo of Gatemouth with his Ric when he was playing with Freddie King. Great shot!

Yes and you have to love the Electro Voice 664 too!
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

Gatemouth, the first Flava Flave! No need for some large watch you do it with sunglasses.

EV's and RCA ribbon mics. You gotta appreciate them.
I use an EV everyday on the air.

I loved Gatemouth. He used to tour the college towns in the 90s. I can't remember if I ever saw him play a Rickenbacker, but he was a quality showman. He was real happy if you bought a cd from him.

Love those clips! Gate was truly one of the greats, and he's getting a great tone out of that 345. Anybody notice that he's got his cord tucked under the Ac'cent tailpiece and looped around the bolt that used to hold the vibrato bar? Gate didn't need no stinkin' whammy bar...

He is one of my faves!

It's not a Rick but I still like the performance.
