The mid 660/12 is making the long journey from Pick of the Ricks in New Jersey, and I know it will be going through some climate difference. I am praying that UPS has a dozen cherubic angels working in shifts to caress the package to my doorstep ever so safely. I've heard about letting it sit in the case for at least a day to acclimate itself to its new surroundings. What is your experience with new Ricks? I have never owned a new one, so I am not sure about how it comes on setup or anything I need to worry about. Any advice would be appreciated.
stoked like a chimney,

Hey Jimmy,
I'd wait at least a day once it gets to your door - we're having a brutal winter here in NJ, and your guitar is going through a lot of mean weather on its way to CA. Resist the temptation to open it for 24 hours - it may be fine, but don't put it in harm's way unnecessarily.
It'll only heighten the anticipation! ENJOY!

I'm hoping it comes a day early, so I can pretend like it only came on time!
