First post, had to chime in on this one.

A couple of Funk Brothers in the Phil Collins video - Bob Babbitt on bass, Eddie Willis on guitar. Glad they are still making music. Standing in the Shadows of Motown gave them the exposure they deserved. What better musicians to back a Motown classic?

Great site, picked up my latest guitar, a 330/12 mapleglo (new) after the holidays. Had a jetglo 450/12 in the early 70's, wish I could find it and get it back. Plan to try to track it down if I can ever find the time (I don't think I have the serial number anymore). Like riding a bike, you never forget how to play a Rick, my new one brings back many pleasant memories.

Welcome, Ernie! :D

Yes, it was great to see them, especially for me, Babbitt playing with Collins. 8)

What a great film 'Standing in the Shadows of Motown' was. Now I'm really looking forward to the 'Wrecking Crew' and the Emitt Rhodes 'One Man Beatles' documentaries.

So this has nothing to do with the KISS song?
♪♫♪♫I need new strings, these ones have a bunch of dang wrong notes on 'em ♫♪♫♪
