Nailed Neil Young's Sound?

Post by IHeartRics »

Goofing around the other day I put my 620 (with toasters and the 0.0047 cap) through my RAT distortion with the volume max'ed, a really short delay, and an LBP-1 volume boost (also max'ed) through this little tube amp I have called a Sound Projects. It's about 2 watts with a 6" speaker. I cranked the tone and volume all the way up. It immediately reminded me of Neil Young's sound. I started playing Rockin' In the Free World and doing Neil Young-like solos. What a blast!
Expect nothing and you'll never be disappointed (and I mean that in an optimistic way).
