Recently watched Lemmy the Movie, whatever your views are on him there is a lot of Rickenbacker bass bits to watch.

I like to view him from just in front of the mixing board. Groundhogs day it is, then!

It was worth watching for all the footage of his Ric basses. I'm not a big Motorhead fan but,he does come over as a person who is not wrapped up in his fame in any way.

And he was born in Stoke-on-Trent1 So he's definitely alright with me :-)

I'm going to rent this film off itunes sometime this week. I remember seeing a documentary about him maybe 6 years ago, it was pretty good. He's a survivor for sure...

I got the DVD last week, really enjoyed it. I'm a massive Motorhead fan, so it's a real treat!

Don't know about the US, but over here you can get the 2-disc version for about £9.99 - the 2nd disc having about 200 minutes of extras.

You can never have enough Lemmy!

Survivor? The only thing left after a nuclear holocaust will be cockroaches and Lemmy

I wish they would have interviewed his bass tech, more about how Lemmy likes his basses set up.
