I don't know. I don't think the owner knows either because the jackplate is so worn. I removed the 'stolen' listing from the registry, but someone also posted the instrument so hopefully they'll take it off the stolen list, too.Ontario_RIC_fan wrote:I love a happy ending!!! That was me. I have now edited the registry entry to remove the stolen tag...

Here is info about another stolen 4001 - this one from Ottawa Canada that I saw on another forum
It is in the register already but not as a collected item. Perhaps Gil or Peter can edit the registry listing and add these images.
SN is MD1582

IIRC, that BG '73 4001 was purchased by a forumite and the bass disappeared while in transit to him.
