set-up help
I'm about to take the plunge and set up both my 660-6 and 330-12. Having never done this, i'm terrified, naturally, but both guitars seem to have an underbow. the 660 is 3/16ths of and inch higher at the first fret from the 12th, lying flat on a table. the 330-12 is a full 1/4 of an inch. I have constant tuning issues with the 660, and i'm thinking this apparent underbow is the issue. any help/advice would be appreciated
Re: set-up help
It is best to check and measure relief with the guitar in playing position, not laying down on a table as the weight of the headstock can change and influence the measurement.

Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

Re: set-up help
The first thing you want to check into is tightening those truss rods a bit... That's a lot of bow! Wow!dovetail wrote:I'm about to take the plunge and set up both my 660-6 and 330-12.
