Rickenbackers in Pep Band????

Post by rickosound »

A few weeks ago, the bass player and the drummer in my high school's pep band started jamming with some rock riffs in between songs, and our band director asked them if they wanted to find a guitarist and play some rock songs at the rest of the basketball games. They asked me, and, of course, I chose a Ric as my sidekick. Here's a shot from last night.

At the University of Tampa in the mid to late 90's there was a girl who played her late grandfather's 78 4001 FG with the pep band. Somewhere I have a picture of her with that bass and me with my '91 360/12 FG I had at the time, my first Rick.
