4001pickup selector switch

Which way is which pickup? Toggle up (towards the strings) is the neck pickup, right? I went to work on my 4001 to put back the original circuit, and realized I didn't remember, and there's not enough conclusive evidence on the old switch for me to be sure.

Up, towards the strings is neck pickup only. Down, away from the strings is bridge pickup only.
