The ear is amazing, but im afraid I have a hard fine tuning with it. A piano seems like a nightmare. I was wondering about a polytune and how good they are. May have to go try one out. As for the rackmount tuner it would be the lonliest rackmount piece in the world. :lol:

One of my DTR-1s share space with a Walter Woods Super amp. The one for sale used to share space with a Furman PQ-3 preamp/equalizer, but the PQ-3 is sold, hence the reason I am selling it, it is all packed up in it's original box, virtually brand new!

Actually they count the beats. It has nothing to do with pitch or tone.
