restoration mishap

Post by walker »

I've got a P-bass I'm prepping for a refin in Sherwood Green - afraid I might have over-done it with the reducer:

Talk to jps, I'm sure he's got an enlarger he'd let you borrow...
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

Right? Oh, well. At least I can say: "No biggie. It's only a P-bass."

Try rehydration, not too much or you will have to shrink it again. 8)

Although the dietary potential of reducer sounds promising, you might want to wait until I get the science down a little better - otherwise you could end up at about the right size for that P-bass.

Mark: These mishaps have surfaced before but in Japan. Time to call in Walter of the Fringe squad.

HA! Not surprising in this day of technology getting smaller and smaller. Not always a good thing with guitars, though.
