Looking for high-res shots of . . .

Post by bassduke49 »

. . . the following basses for the "project":

The first version of the Mapleglo 4004Cii "Cheyenne II" with the quilted top and walnut back and bubinga fretboard.

A bass finished in "Silver" with BT/BH or white trim and chrome hardware (yes, there were some)

More shots of 4008.

More shots of 3000 and 3001 basses.

More shots of 2030 and 2050 basses.

More shots of 4003S/5

More shots of 4003S/8

More shots of 4004Cii/5

Can't promise compensation, but can give full credit and unending fame!

Thanks, Steve, but no. Your shot of your Turq 2060 is the lead shot in that chapter (under construction).

I have both a 3000 and a 2030 which my girlfriend could take to her photo studio someday. What is the deadline?

Thanks, Scott. I do not want to presume that the high-res photos in the registry are for the taking for my project. I would rather that collectors volunteer to supply the photos to me rather than just scoop them up from that source. Besides, the registry is anonymous and I wouldn't be able to credit the photog without involving admin to get me in contact with the provider.

I understand, Paul. The pic I linked is my own and the specific bass is linked in each of my posts in the sig line.

I offer mine up for submission and as a former editor understand that another submission may be chosen. I've seen a lot of fine pics here.

Thanks, that would be great, Bert. One of the joys of self-publishing is that there is no "deadline" as such. However, it is my intention to finish the "project" this calendar year, so the sooner you can manage getting shots, the sooner it can be done.

I can send some shots of my '86 4003 in Silver with BT/BH if that would help. I should be able get them to you in a week or so.

Wonderful, Robert. Silver is a hard one to find. I've got decent shots of nearly every other color, but Silver has eluded me!
