Just snapped these. 700C/12 & 730S. The pics don't do justice to the flame on the back of the Comstock.

Gary, I believe the 730L has flame maple back & sides, right? Would love to see some pics.
Cheers,

I'll take some close-ups and post them in the next day or so - have your sunglasses ready!

Those acoustics are stunning Bill!

I'm a bass player but I can appreciate the beauty of those.

If they sound anywhere near as good as they look (I'm sure they do), then how could you go wrong with them!

Thanks guys. Both guitars play & sound great. The craftsmanship is supurb as well. I work for a local guitar company and brought the dreadnought in to show everyone. One of the bosses looked at it and said "now this is the way an acoustic guitar should be made".

One friend told me the dreadnought was the best acoustic he's ever played and several people, including the store that sold it to me, have said the 700 is the best sounding acoustic 12 they've ever heard. I have to agree.

Ric acoustics are the absolute best! I wouldn't trade my Comstock for any other acoustic out there.... It has incredible-sounding bright, clean tones with a really resonant bass end. My Commie is fireglo and looks just like Bill's, only mine is a 6-string. I can only imagine how great it must sound as a 12-string....

The ambient lighting probably doesn't do this justice (a flash definitely wipes out the flame/tigering), but here goes:

I'll take it to work with me tomorrow and take a couple in sunlight.

Well, I couldn't get an optimum angle in the sun today, so here's the best shot in sunlight:
