Soon to be eligible

Post by bassman7365 »

Soon, very soon, I too will be eligible for membership into the Vintage Ric Club :D Tony C. has been gracious enough to let me add his '81 4001 to my stable. Can't wait to see and feel the difference between it and the '97 4003. Will most certainly have the camera out and active.

Doctor, Doctor, give me the news. I got a bad case of the Rickenbacker blues. I can't believe it, I'm already lookin' for the next one

Pete, thats how it starts. You get one and then (poof!), you want another 11. Unless you are Graham Griffiths, you want 110.

You own a '97? Well, that's a vintage then as well... In 1972 a Gibson dealer ran an add for a 1959 Les Paul - the description is the oldest known documented use of "vintage" to describe a guitar (basses will go with the same ageing?). Well, '97 seems to be like 13 years ago.

You'll have two vintage instruments! Congrats :D
