I put a new high gain in a 610. I run it through a Pod Pro with a modified Fender Champ emulation. I can't imagine wanting a "dirtier" sound. It's got all the squeal and bite I'd ever need.

The humbucker's a different animal. In humbucker mode, it's got a clean crunch. Using a coil tap, it's clean, period, but not overly trebly or bright.

As a general observation, use your amp knobs. I've noticed that a lot of people are constantly changing pickups, but never adjust anything else in the signal chain to really dial in a sound they like. I understand that, as I'm a plug'n'play guy myself (Image), but I can get very usable sounds from every RIC pickup I've got in a guitar with a couple of small tweaks.
You want to put that where?

I've got a Ric 360/6 with highgains and love it. The only thing that I would change would be add more a little more radius into the finger board.
