4003 comes home (with a bonus)!

Post by eljayski »

couldn't stand the wait no mo' so i busted my piggybank and took bags of loose change to wildwood to get my 4003 off layaway.

(actually, i took some crisp C-notes).

Image

couple days ago, some guys on the lespaulforum were drooling about the new "wildwood spec" lesters and asking that someone living near wildwood play one and give a tone report. well, i live near ww so i "volunteered" for the dirty task of test driving one of the new LPs. fabulous git-tar.

to my great shock and delight, my lovely wife saw the look of bliss on my face while playing the LP and she up and bought it for me!! :o

happy times, tonight!!

thanks for looking! eljayski

Awesome! I love Wildwood. They're always nice to me and they have tons of great Rics in stock every time I go.

Steve Mesple from Wildwood had a great band called Wind Machine, I don't know if they are still around as a band; I have a bunch of their CDs. Do you know about this band?

wind machine was big on the colorado front range in the 1990s; however, i'm pretty sure that the band broke up.

std. 1959 reissue (R9) with some wildwood-specific appointments (tonepros hdwr; custom-wound pups, etc.). really a delightful guitar!
