4003 BLACKSTAR WANTED

Post by bobby_peru »

I'm hoping someone here may know of a 4003 BLACKSTAR for sale.

Unluckily I have missed a good deal some time ago. Let see if I got any more luck this time.
I hope any of you guys can help me to get one.

Thanks in advance.

My problem is I'm in the UK and they rarely come up for sale this side of the pond. getting one shipped from the US will add another 30% to the price when customs import duty has to be paid :(

Good luck to you Bobby, and should you happen to find two up for sale, let me know about the spare!!

You might not get any responses here, but at 30 posts you can get into the Marketplace threads, which are the best place to look for gear...

I have a Black Star available. If you're still looking please contact me off list. I will be traveling this up coming week (seem like all I've been doing for the past year) so I may be a little slow in responding to you...

thanks!

Just spotted this one on the Baltimore MD Craigslist for $1800:

Awesome Bass Guitars For Sale (Rickenbacker, etc) (Owings Mills)

Selling 3 of my basses. One of which is EXTREMELY rare!

First up, my 1988 Rickenbacker (USA) Blackstar. Officially, only 200 were made. I've been told that the number was more like 150, but don't know that for certain. In any case, it's an AWESOME player. Has a few nicks and dings, but nothing too severe. I have two sets of pickups for it. More info on this Limited Edition can be found here --> http://www.rickbeat.com/modelslibrary/4 ... ckstar.htm You will likely never see one for sale again. Most used Rics sell for $1400 on up and given that this is a super rare Ric, it's prob worth well over $2000. For a VERY quick sale, I'll let it go for just $1800. First to commit, gets her!

...

NO SCAMMERS! CASH IN PERSON ONLY!!!!

Location: Owings Mills
You would need somebody local to the seller to act as a go-between, of course.

Robert, now that you are over 30 posts, if you are still looking for one, you might want to start a thread in the Rickenbackers Wanted section of the Marketplace as suggested by Jeff.
