Guitar Center sale on 325c58

Post by vicw »

Thought you guys might like to know that GC has reduced the price on the c58 to $799, still $150 for the vintage case. Bought one this afternoon at that price, presumably it's a closeout price beyond Labor Day.

Well, I couldn't stand it---I had to go out and find one, and I did---a natural alder C58. Had to go to two different stores, but they hooked me up...

For $799.00.... Had to see it on the computer for myself. The case was extra, a little cheaper than what Vic payed. I still can't believe it.

I called GC just to see, but they said $1799

I just assumed Vic had missed a 1.

maybe Ill go out there tomorrow

JP

seems there are quite a few on ebay all the sudden too... I guess if I managed a GC I would gank it, and put it on the bay as well.

Hmmmmm. $799/$1799. Sounds like a human error data input mistake. Snag 'em while you can.

Hm, 5 of this model on ebay now, and 3 seem to have the same high bidder at this time.

I seriously consideed hitting GC yesterday and decided to grade papers instead Image

That loud noise you hear is me smacking my forehead in frustration!

John, is that frustration from grading papers, not getting a 325c58, or both?!?

I went to the GC in Fountain Valley yesterday and got the last one they had: $799 + $150(case) + tax = $1023 total. Couldn't pass that up!

I never found one in stock, I talked to a GC in Cleveland Ohio today and they said they blew out all their Ric stock over the weekend in a big sale.

325 is one of those guitars that I would like to have someday, but its pretty far down the list at 2g.
but, for 800 I would of snagged one if I had found one.

Frustration is with both Image

It's kinda funny. My students' scores vary inversely as a function of the lateness of the hour in which they have my classes.

i just went to the Artesia (So. Bay, CA) store and they still had their raggedy, scratched, dinged and gouged mapleglo. Priced at 1799. I couldn't get any salesdrone's attention, so I just played it a bit and left. I don't think I would want that one even at $799.

The GC here in Austin had one. Don't know if it's still there.
