I was on my way there but you guys were done before i even got to I-70, near Columbus! I only had about 3 more days to go to get there. Glad you guys had a great time.

Don't be such a slacker Jeff; next time leave earlier and you'll have a shot at being there before the opening number. I had to drink your beer and buy your round for everyone. Sheesh!

Seriously, it was a super cool show. Los Mysteriosos have a really cool sound. Lots of melody, and the singer has some pipes! I wasn't sure if I was going to make it, but after studying in the school library and freezing my buns off (I had a sweatshirt, leather jacket, scarf, and beanie on, and some of my fellow students had their hoodies up), I called it a night and headed down to Huntington Beach!

We had a great time! Los Mysteriosos is a terrific band and Dano Rocks!

I also took a vid of the band, which is on Youtube. Dan has the link if he'd like to post it. Not the the greatest sound quality from the cell phone vid, but you can still tell the band is great!

Well deserved kind words.
Don't worry about your facial expressions, I have to figure out a good camera setting in low light with that phone.
For what ever reason, I couldn't get the video to work right until after Dan put down the 381JK and picked up his Gibson.
Post the vid Dan. I'm should people would like to see it. I you don't, I will!

I was away today and just saw this. I'm happy to post a link to the video Joey took. I don't want to post the video on the RRF proper because I was playing my Gibson ES-355 at the time, so it doesn't seem appropriate to post here, but I will post the youtube link (I think that's allowed). As you can see in Joeys pictures, I split the set between the Rick and the Gibson. I'm a semi-hollow body guy for the most part!

Thanks again to Joey for coming out to the show and taking the video (thanks to Paul too). It was a fun show. As he said, the sound on his cell phone microphone get's overwhelmed by the loud noise levels but you get a good idea of the band vibe.

This song is El Pastor. It is #9 in our 12 song set. It is an old Mexican Folk song that we do our way.

There are other video's on youtube if you want to look. Most of our recorded songs are there with picture backgrounds, and a few very old live videos that other people have posted. Please ignore the 6 or 7 year old Cinco De Mayo video. We've improved
