Jangle Box 2

Post by jimk »

I just got my JB-2 in today's mail. Ran downstairs fired up the Kustom plugged everything in and WOW! All I can say is that with a push of a button, I'm "Back From Rio."

I'll plug the whole works into the Rick-O-Sound jack later this afternoon between lessons. Gotta go corrupt the youth of America one guitar student at a time, you know :wink: 8) More at 11.

Yeah, and so was Roger McGuinn, :lol: and Jerry Garcia, Jorma Kaukonen, Jack Cassidy, Clarence White, Chris Hillman, David Crosby...the list goes on. 8)

Anyway....So my set-up looked like this:
Rick 12 string neck pick up-->JB1-->Vox AC15
bridge pick up-->JB2-->MuiscMan RD Fifty 110. JB1 settings: Gain at about 12:00, Attack at 2:00, tone selector switch on the Normal position. JB2 settings: Bass at 5:00, Treble at 3:00, Gain at 3:00, Attack at 4:00, Level at 4:00. Turn on the Jangle Boost switch and presto! "Back From Rio" or close enough for government work. "Eight Miles High" really rang out. And the G and D pair of strings spoke out nicely on "Turn, Turn, Turn."
I'm very pleased.
