Not gonna add repetition to the outstanding line up already posted. I saw Humble Pie back when Peter Frampton was in the band. Greg Ridley was the guy that made me say I wan't to play bass. Dee Murray also an influence.

I saw that classic line-up in '71, truly a great band from a great time in music. The opening act were a young band from the Kent-Youngstown area called Glass Harp.

Lots of great playing within those two bands.

Richard Sinclair of caravan/hatfield and the north/camel
Helmut Hattler of Kraan
Ray Bennett of Flash
Alphonso Johnson (Weather Report and countless other)

I love hearing Alan Davey with his 4003s through Fender Bassman 70's. He played for some 20 something years in Hawkwind and now plays with Gunslinger and several other projects.
