Hmm. If it was, you must have been playing guitar, because I can play only bass! I brought my special red Höfner to that confluence, too.

That first "major" confluence was notable in that there were about 40 or 50 basses, maybe six guitars, and perhaps Ted's 4080. It was pretty hard to put a jam together, but a version of Big Bottoms would have worked!

Hope some of you can come to Milwaukee this June (see listing in Confluences).

Hmm, I dunno, maybe this one:

Or perhaps this:

'Course, that one needs an update.

But I think I need to work on the backgrounds a bit...
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

Very nice CJ, which one is the go to bass, or does it keep changing.

My go-to is the old, '76 4001 Azureglo, but it depend on what I'm doing. The fretless is, well, fretless and strung with flats, so there's a different sound there. And I'm really liking the 4004, it's strung BEAD, so again, it's got a different purpose. It may eventually end up being a 5 string...

Nice George, I like the first as it catches the hilights in the bubinga.
