Guitar Choices 620/330/650C

the one I played was a sierra, so I doubt it.

When I was there they also had an MG 360/12, which I played extensively, and a 660/12 which I played for all of 5 seconds

I assumed it was a 620 until I picked it up. By that point I was runnning late and couldn;t do a real test drive

This was 1.5 years ago.

I agree with you in the looks derpartment - the sierra I saw was not especially attractive or unattactive. Come to think of it, it buzzed like a chainsaw too. . . something about the lights in the store is what they told me. The 360 was probably the prettiest guitar I've ever played, but. . .much harder to play too

Jaime, you might want to check out a 660. great looks (all the stuff you like about a 620) and a wider neck to boot. You might be able to order it with the higain pups if you want a hotter sound. I have owned a few ricks ( i am a lefty and Rickenbacker is one of the FEW quality makers to have lefty guitars in their lineup): 360, a coupla 620's, 350v63, and a couple of 660's. I have kept the 660: great lookin' guitar , great sounds- you can overdrive the vintage pups just fine- and that great Rick quality of build. You should be able to find one for 40% off retail (at least to order...) at some store nearby. You can email me if you want help. Really, the 660 should do you well. Hey neighbor! Thanks for the info Dave. I didn't know the 660 had the wider neck/string spacing but what turned me away from the 660 was the extra money for things I didn't really care about like the checkerboard binding and gold tinted pickguard.

I still need to recoup from buying the 4003 so I'm not really looking to buy another guitar right away but I'm always looking as I'm sure you can relate. I've seen some used local prices that have been real tempting though!
