Was it real binding on the guitar Mitch or is that a painted finish?

It has a faux binding.

Maybe it was Orianthi's guitar?

I got this info from the store:

"This guitar has been re-done head to toe by Mark Johnson of MJ Guitars. All electronics have been upgrade to cts pots and higher end caps. The electronic cavity has been shielded. Plays and sounds amazing. The pictures do not do this guitar justice. The color is a deep sparkle red with an amber to orange tint. Must be seen to be believed! Pickups are a higher output custom wound with adjustable pole pieces. A true one of a kind! The binding edge is the wood of the body! "

I believe it's from the Liberace estate.

Why didn't Liberace paint the back of the neck? It's schizoid.
