Peter, what pickups are you using in the '08?

I see Peter understands that JETGLO ROCKS! :)
I'd be tempted to put a black pickguard on a Jetglo S/5.
JETGLO should officially be renamed JETGLO ROCKS! :-)

Also curious--they look like Hofner pickups.

Could they be the bridge pup from a Gibson SG bass?

Sorry Guys, been cooking all day.
I really wasn't keen on the hi gains and they were very hummy. Yes wash my mouth out.
They are actually Artec violin bass humbuckers.
Just a little too big for direct replacements even though the screw mounts are the same size.
I had sign writer cnc some acrylic.
They are both the same size so the bridge pole don't exactly line up - but good enough.
Several front of house sound guys have commented on the tone - hasn't lost any of that Ricky growl.

I like these two pictures, one of my Rickenbacker 4001 BG '77 and the second of my "Grecobacker" JG '75.

I like the pic' of the BG 77 Wazzo. Looks like that bass has seen some action over the years.

I know this thread is a bit old but I have just downloaded some photos from my camera (eventually!) and one caught my eye that may fit in here. Its my '73 BG leaning on my shed
