(Anesthesia) Pulling Teeth

If anyone has ever heard this extraordinary bass solo, you cannot argue against that Rickenbacker basses kick a**!! If you haven't, check this one out on Metallica's Kill 'em All album.

I've allready have seen that video a million times. If he did give it back, it will probably sit around and collect dust like my VCR is right now. Well, I hope he is enjoying it as much as I did........

Its an interesting one though... Cliff modded his BurgundyGlo Ric quite heavily... this pic shows it nicely

He slapped in an EB3 pickup at the neck and a DiMarzio J pickup in at the bridge. I think the bass itself is at his mum and dad's house, or someone in his family. Either way, its cool as anything - my fave Ric colour - would love a 4003 in that finish.

It's a great looking bass and the player is even more amazing. What a bass player.
