Hello, Mapleglo...

Post by superdick2112 »

Please say hello to my new mapleglo 4003.
It has a beefier neck than my '08 jetglo, and it sounds & plays great. I had money down on a mid. blue 4003, but when I went to the store to try it out, I played several other 4003 basses, & this one was by far the best sounding & playing one there, so I grabbed it instead...

howdy blondie! beautiful bass, looks like the headstocks are getting longer again (?) ,pictures can present differing perspectives, tho.

i thought the new 2 piece necks were slimmer than recent year builds, but not so much in this case? maybe the factory is splitting the difference with the 4004 series neck specs....( i gotta see if i can check out some new ricks during my layover in SFO!)

Click on the pics, Steve, and you'll have no trouble identifying these beautiful basses.

Very nice......my favorite finish. Although the current FG is also really nice too. The important thing is that you played it and it felt right to your hands.
Congrats on a beautiful bass....enjoy.

Did you play the 2011 MG with the crazy upper body wing figuring? It's almost like a burl in the maple.

That song is my least liked Yes tune. I'm guessing I'm alone on this.
