McCartney Remaster

Post by fireglo »

Here's a youtube video about the remastered McCartney album. It shows that he used the Rickenbacker on the album.

The guitars he had on hand were the Martin D-28 used on White Album, the 1962 Epiphone Casino, a '62 Left-hand double-bound Telecaster, the "Helter Skelter" Esquire and according to forumite Dave Kim, a Left-handed Gibson Firebird V.

It was also when the 4001S was his main bass. Don't know what was happening with the Hofner.

The Hofner didn't see any real action until Flowers in the Dirt when Elvis Costello told him to pull it back out. He had the bridge reset to fix the intonation problems it always had. I wonder why he never had it fixed when he was with the Beatles.

I think I'm in on McCartney, but I haven't decied about McCartney 2 yet.

I'd love to see what the text says about the Rickenbacker bass in the booklet.

Me too. Now, I'll have to buy the cd just to read the book.
